Fire Safety

All College buildings are equipped with fire extinguishers, and alarms such as automatic warning systems, pull stations, smoke detectors, or hand-activated alarms such as aerosol boat horns. If a person discovers a fire, he or she should:
  1. Activate fire alarm.
  2. Evacuate.
  3. Call the Fulton Fire Department 911.
  4. Call Campus Security at 573-592-5555.
When a fire alarm is sounded, each person must leave the building immediately and proceed to their safe zone for accountability (see Evacuation Protocol). Report to the building's Building Contact, Residential Advisor, Fraternity President, or person in charge (see Evacuation Protocol). Follow instructions given by Building Contracts, SEcurity, emergency first responders, or campus administration.
