Pre-Law Degree Program

What Can I Do With a Pre-Law Degree?

Westminster’s Pre-Law degree program is distinctive because it is built around our Pre-Law minor. The Pre-Law minor can be completed with any major, which means that you can customize your degree to match your goals. Additionally, students who want to major in Political Science can choose the Pre-Law track in that major, which will allow them to complete the major and the Pre-Law minor simultaneously.

The Pre-Law program contains a mix of courses intended to help you acquire the skills you need to succeed on the Law School Aptitude Test (LSAT), in law school, and as attorneys. Students are also strongly encouraged to participate in a law-related internship as one of their elective courses to gain practical experience in the legal profession.

“Westminster’s Legal Professions Program prepared me for the critical thinking and communication skills needed for law school at Vanderbilt and set the foundation for my legal career.
