Undergraduate Scholars Forum 2024
Welcome to the 2024 Undergraduate Scholars Forum!
This year marks the 17th anniversary of the inception of the Undergraduate Scholars Forum (USF) at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, and we look forward to celebrating 17 years of student achievement.
Since the spring of 2008, Westminster has held USF each spring as a means of putting on display the great work of our students — across many disciplines and in a variety of formats. We have enjoyed professional papers, presentations, posters, and creative performances. We have brought back to campus outstanding alumni to encourage our students and inspire us all. We have given out academic awards to recognize the many accomplishments of our students. And most of all, we have witnessed how our students inspire one another, our faculty and staff, and parents, alumni, and trustees. We hope all who join this event will enjoy the richness of our students’ work and witness Westminster College’s deep commitment to academic excellence.
The Teaching and Learning Committee has created a full day of activities, which will begin with the opening session at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 18. This session will commemorate the anniversary of USF with an overview of the event; a keynote address by an inspiring alumnus, Ayush Manandhar, '17, a student presentation; and the presentation of academic awards. This session will be followed by several concurrent ones, including paper and poster presentations.
The schedule will be updated soon. Please note that the schedule is subject to change, so check the site regularly for updates. Students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and trustees are all welcome to all sessions. For those visiting our campus, please feel free to get your lunch at the dining hall, located in the Mueller Leadership Hall, or enjoy exploring the restaurants in downtown Fulton, Missouri.
