How to Post an Internship
Westminster Students all have a free account to Handshake. We encourage students to seek out internship and employment opportunities through this platform. Handshake was created for students, alumni, and WC supporters.
Handshake is like LinkedIn but focused on the Blue Jay community. Members can communicate with each other through private messaging, scheduled phone calls, or through a variety of community groups. Alumni and supporter members participate because they feel strongly about helping students navigate the sometimes-tricky world of job searching and career exploration.
In order to post, it must meet the following standards:
- Include complete organization and contact information (organization name, address, organization URL, contact name, contact email, contact phone number).
- Adhere to NACE Principles of Professional Conduct for Employment Professionals.
- Must not charge any fees to students.
If you have questions about how to create an internship, would like ideas for how to utilize an intern, or if you would prefer we post the position for you, Contact Heather Stewart, Internship Coordinator, by email at heather.stewart@wcmo.edu or 573.592.5368.
