How I help online students succeed: I help online students succeed by stimulating, challenging, and motivating their critical-thinking skills. I also help students succeed with timely grading feedback.
My online teaching philosophy: I am unequivocally committed to the academic, professional, and personal success and well-being of every student. I do so by remaining student-centric, engaged, attentive, and responsive to student needs and concerns. I ethically and competently practice my facilitative role to the best of my ability and help students achieve their success goals and student-learning outcomes. I also help with their acquisition of strategic, career-focused skills and knowledge. Additionally, I pledge to hold myself out as a role model and to mentor my students while continuously seeking to encourage, nurture, and coach them so they maintain positive attitudes of mind while striving to cultivate their critical thinking — to shape their human and intellectual capital.

Fun fact about me: I have been a certified financial planner since 1996, and prior to my teaching career, I worked in that capacity at KPMG, Arthur Andersen, and BCA Financial Services, Inc.
